My Story

Cardiff in 25 Buildings, a history tour by bike.

Starting and finishing at Pedal Power, Pontcanna Fields, the tour is a gentle eight miles, with lots of stops to look at the buildings in both the town centre and the bay. Time taken between two and three hours.

My story? I joined Pedal Power as a volunteer in October 2020. I love riding my bike and want everyone to love riding a bike too.

I ride my bike to the shops, to my doctor, dentist, hairdresser, to visit friends and just for the joy of it. My bike takes me door to door, it’s quick, cheap and there are no parking worries. Riding my bike gives me freedom and fresh air – it’s physical exercise without trying and does wonders for my mental wellbeing.

I like Cardiff and history too. So, a History Tour by Bike to fund raise for Pedal Power is everything wrapped into one.
